About Lon'Dyn
Hi! I’m a patient and supportive reading tutor who loves helping young learners build confidence and enjoy reading more. I focus on creating a calm, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking their time. I enjoy breaking skills into simple steps and finding the approach that works best for each child. Whether a student needs help with phonics, fluency, vocabulary, or comprehension, I’m committed to helping them grow at their own pace and feel proud of their progress. My goal is to make reading feel less stressful and more enjoyable while giving students the tools they need to succeed in school.

My reading lessons are calm, supportive, and designed to help young learners build confidence step by step. I start by getting to know each student’s reading level, strengths, and areas where they need extra support. From there, I create simple, personalized activities that focus on phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. I use clear explanations, guided practice, and positive encouragement to help students feel comfortable and motivated.
During each session, we read together, talk through tricky words, and practice strategies that make reading easier and more enjoyable. I adjust my pace to match the student’s needs and make sure they understand what they’re reading, not just sounding out the words. My goal is to help every student feel proud of their progress and develop strong reading habits that will support them in school and beyond.
