About Patrick
- What kind of experience do you have? I have taught for the past 6 years at schools, in higher education and privately including Eaton Square School, Camden Music Service, Avanti House Primary School and Lambeth Music Service. I currently teach at Goldsmiths University (Euphonium and Trombone) and International School of London. As a player I have had a wide range of experience playing in different groups as a member and guest across a wide variety of genres in many different countries. Some of the artists/groups I have performed with include the Heritage Orchestra (Goldie, Sparks, Pete Tong), Book of Mormon (West End Show) Peter Andre (Big Night Tour, Come Swing With Me), Boy George (This is what I do album), European Jazz Orchestra 2011 (as Britain's member), Don't Problem and London Groove Collective (with whom I write) and many others (for more info and bio please see my website!). - Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate? I do have a fully up to date DBS for both International School of London and Camden Music service. - Where and with whom did you train? My Goldsmiths pupil gained a 2/1 in his autumn postgraduate mid year assessment. My current students have enjoyed success with their recent ABRSM exams, with all of them gaining passes as minimum, some with distinction and Merit.

I'm a freelance trombonist and teacher offering lessons to people of any age - lessons will be fun whilst also pushing you to realise your potential! - Which subject(s) do you teach? Trombone Jazz Trombone Trumpet Euphonium French Horn Recorder Sibelius Theory - Tell me about your qualifications. Guildhall School of Music and Drama - BMUS HONS ABRSM - Grade 8 Trombone (Distinction) ABRSM - Grade 8 Recorder University of St Andrews - Advanced Diploma in Jazz - How much do you charge? I charge £40 an hour as a standard rate and £20 per half hour for individual tuition. If travelling to your place I charge £45 per hour or £25 per half hour. - Where do you teach? Ideally I teach students at my house but am also willing to travel to you! - When are you available? Being a freelance musician I have a flexible schedule so I can normally work it round to what fits best for you! - Which ages and levels do you teach?
