About Karly

Hello! I’m a versatile and passionate language educator dedicated to helping students bridge the gap between learning English and actually using it confidently in real life. With 5 years of experience as a study guide and classroom teacher, I specialize in understanding each student's unique learning styles and needs.
My diverse background includes teaching the local Grades 1-11 government curriculum as well as training students for international frameworks like Cambridge PET and IELTS preparation where I excel at making the Reading and Listening modules highly approachable and easy to understand.
My Qualifications:
5+ Years of Teaching & Study Guiding Experience
Current English Subject Teacher at a Private School
Weekend Cambridge English Tutor
60-hour TEFL Certificate & Formal Teacher College Training
B.A. in Chinese (giving me a deep understanding of multi-language learning)
I am constantly upgrading my skills and am currently diving into the Cambridge TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) framework to ensure my classroom strategies remain fresh, engaging, and deeply supportive. I welcome students of all levels and ages, and I am committed to being the patient, encouraging guide you need to reach your goals!

About the lesson

My Teaching Approach: Patient, Personalized & Goal-Oriented
Every student learns differently, which is why I don’t believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach. My lessons are tailored entirely to your personal goals, learning speed, and current English level. Whether you are struggling to catch up with schoolwork or aiming to boost your Cambridge/IELTS scores, I am here to guide you step-by-step with patience and care.
