About Andrea
I am a Pharm.D. graduate with a strong background in science, pharmacology, biochemistry, mathematics, and education. I have experience helping students understand challenging subjects and believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance and support.
As a tutor, I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions. I take the time to understand each student's needs and adapt my teaching style to help them succeed.
My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and help them become more independent learners. I take pride in being reliable, professional, and genuinely invested in my students' progress.

My goal is to make math easier to understand and less intimidating. I use a patient, personalized approach and explain concepts step by step, using simple examples and practice problems.
A typical lesson includes reviewing previous material, introducing the current topic, working through problems together, and then allowing the student to practice independently. I encourage questions and focus on understanding the reasoning behind each solution, not just memorizing formulas.
What sets me apart is my patience, empathy, and ability to simplify challenging concepts. With my Pharm.D. and science background, I understand the importance of strong math skills, especially for students pursuing STEM and healthcare careers.
I tutor high school and college students in College Algebra, Precalculus, and Calculus, including students who need help with homework, exams, difficult topics, or strengthening their mathematical foundation.
