About Niyah
Hi! I am a dedicated tutor and PharmD candidate with a strong academic background in the sciences, especially chemistry and biology. I am passionate about helping students not only improve their grades, but also develop a deep, lasting understanding of the material so they feel confident in their coursework.
I work with high school and college students in general chemistry, biology, anatomy & physiology, and introductory science courses, as well as algebra. My approach focuses on breaking complex topics into clear, step-by-step explanations so students understand the “why” behind the concepts instead of just memorizing answers.
In my tutoring sessions, I create a supportive, patient, and structured environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenging material at their own pace. Each session is tailored to the student’s goals, whether that is exam preparation, homework help, or strengthening foundational understanding.
Outside of academics, I enjoy baking, reading, and going on hikes, and I’m a big fan of the musical Hamilton. These interests help me stay balanced and bring patience, creativity, and energy into my tutoring sessions.
My goal is to help students feel more confident, capable, and less overwhelmed in their science courses over time. I am available for flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
