About Masha
I am an educator with a diverse background in arts and humanities. I hold a BFA in Studio Art, an MFA in Visual Arts, and am currently pursuing my PhD in Art and Visual Culture, which focuses on research and writing. I have taught and developed curricula in workshop, museum, artist residency, high school, and university settings in the US, in Greece, and in Russia. Having worked in international settings, I value listening, adapting to cross-cultural communication, and centering each student's needs. In my teaching practice, I focus on individual styles of learning to support each student's engagement, excitement about the material we are working through, and their potential for success.
