About Lindsay
I've spent the better part of my life in classrooms as either a student or a teacher. In the years since I graduated high school and pursued undergraduate and graduate degrees, I've often reflected on and remembered the words and advice received from teachers and tutors. I've been very lucky to have received helpful guidance, advice, and support during my academic pursuits. It is important to me to pass on the knowledge, skills, and experience I've learned to other students who are just starting out on an academic path.
I've led classroom discussions, tutored students in writing at the undergraduate and graduate-levels, and organized study support groups during my academic career. Learning new and challenging concepts can be frustrating and difficult at times, but it helps to have company, support and someone to talk to who can relate to the student experience. I look forward to supporting you with your academic pursuits!

My teaching method is adaptable and is sensitive to the student that I'm working with. Discussion-based techniques that encourage the student to think critically are often used in my lessons. Guides or templates to help students simplify complex information and capture the key points are also used frequently. My passion, adaptability, and creativity set me apart from other tutors. My lessons are ideal for students at the high school, undergraduate, or graduate-level.
