About Marie
I'm a PhD candidate in Anthropology at the University of Chicago, and recently moved to the Bay Area to do my research on queer Arab diasporic communities here. I have taught as a Fulbright scholar in Turkey, as adjunct faculty at St. Augustine University, and as an instructor at University of Chicago. I also have several years of experience as a tutor in writing, placement exams, and executive functioning skills. My life heroes include my grandmother and Audre Lorde.
