About Dejan
I am a skilled professional, working mostly in R&D departments for companies that develop products and technologies for market demands. I have been doing tutoring as a side activity since I received my BSc in chemistry for the last 15+ years, while I am doing tutoring work more seriously for the last 5 years in cooperation with a tuition agency.
I am highly skilled in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and to a certain extent also in Mathematics and Physics.
Besides my work, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking care of our pets, having friends and doing sports. When I have the opportunity, I enjoy reading a good book.

I estimate I performed more than 2000 hours of tutoring in 1:1 sessions and with a group of clients. For the last few years I've been doing tutoring professionally via a tuition agency and use whiteboard tool as a means to communicate and convey the knowledge to the clients effectively, while avoiding the need to do the sessions on site, which is a less stressful approach for most.
I have been tutoring Chemistry on all levels (primary to postgraduate) and in the course of my R&D work, I have also mentored 20+ students in their respective BSc/PhD studies. I've also been tutoring Physics and Mathematics, but mostly restricting myself to high school level.
My approach is centered on developing a trust with the client, so as to ensure that the knowledge is provided efficiently and in stress-free conditions. I provide background on the subject matter, provide and explain various examples and test the client in proficiency using reflective learning approach.
