About Kerry
I studied for a doctorate and taught modules in eighteenth and nineteenth century literature at the University of Kent from 2013-2017. Since then, I've been working in the Legal sector but have recently begun English GCSE tutoring and reignited my love for teaching.
My areas of strength, alongside subject expertise, are patience and compassion. I enjoy mentoring students one-to-one and adapting lessons to fit their individual requirements and learning preferences.
My specialisms are broad and I am confident teaching at all levels. Teaching everything from Shakespeare to contemporary fiction, as well as more general essay-writing and critical thinking skills, I can help you on your educational journey.
