About Masoumeh
I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and have several years of experience teaching and tutoring math, physics, and engineering courses at both high school and university levels. I have worked as a teaching assistant, instructor, and researcher, and I enjoy helping students understand difficult topics in a clear and logical way. I am patient, organized, and comfortable working with students with different backgrounds and skill levels. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students can ask questions freely, gain confidence, and improve their performance in exams and coursework.

My tutoring approach focuses on building clear conceptual understanding together with strong problem solving skills. In math, physics, and engineering courses, students often struggle because formulas are memorized without fully understanding their meaning. During lessons, I first review the underlying concepts, then work through problems step by step, explaining the reasoning behind each step. A typical session includes reviewing class material, solving homework or practice problems, and preparing for quizzes or exams. I adapt the lesson to the student’s level and focus on the areas where they need the most help.
I have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and several years of experience teaching and assisting university level courses such as calculus, physics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and numerical methods. I work with high school and undergraduate students, including AP, SAT, and college level courses such as calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, physics, statics, dynamics, and thermodynamics. My goal is not only to help students complete assignments, but to make sure they understand the material well enough to succeed independently in exams and future courses.
