About Tawanda
I help high school and college students turn rough drafts into essays that are clear, well-structured, and sound like their own voice — whether it's a class assignment, a college application essay, or a timed in-class essay. With a PhD, an MFA, and 10+ years of university teaching experience, I know exactly what teachers, professors, and admissions readers are looking for, and I explain it in plain, practical terms rather than vague margin notes. Every session is tailored to your grade level, assignment, and deadline, and I'm just as comfortable with a last-minute edit the night before as I am building your essay-writing skills over several weeks. Your first lesson is on me — let's see if we're a good fit.
