About Annabelle
I hold a PhD in Microbial Genomics from the University of Queensland, along with a BSc (Honours) in Microbiology. Alongside my PhD, I worked as a tutor for university level students.
I'm an Aussie that just moved over to the UK and I'm looking to share my knowledge and expertise with biology students.

I focus on clear explanations, checking understanding frequently, and adapting my language to each student's level rather than assuming prior knowledge. Lessons typically combine concept explanation, visual diagrams, and worked examples, followed by practice questions or past exam papers so you can apply what you've learnt.
A typical lesson runs 60–90 minutes, though this can flex depending on the topic or exam timeline. I usually recommend weekly sessions for steady progress, with extra sessions added before exams.
I teach students at all levels, high school biology, IB/AP biology, and university-level courses including microbiology, genetics, and molecular biology. I work with teenagers through to adult learners, both one-on-one and in small groups.
