About Tyler
I completed my PhD in mineralogy in 2017, and currently work as a postdoctoral researcher. I have had a passion for teaching since my time as an undergraduate where I was a peer tutor in geology (structures, mineralogy, and general geoscience), chemistry, and physics. During my graduate studies I worked as a research supervisor for 4 undergraduate students, and 6 high school students. I love sharing my knowledge!

I love working with students from all grade levels, although I am most experienced in working with high school and undergraduate students. My overarching academic goal is to make complicated natural phenomena easy to understand. I strongly believe that anyone can learn anything, if they are taught in a way that works with the way they learn.
