About Andrew
I can offer friendly and fun physics and maths tuition to GCSE level, and possibly beyond. I am an official marker of the physics GCSE this year, and so am very familiar with the curriculum, and with the preparation necessary to pass the exams. I have a PhD in experimental atomic physics from the University of Sussex and a first class undergraduate degree in Physics from UCL. I have three small children of my own, live in Worthing and work as a geophysicist.

I take an holistic approach to teaching mathematics and science. That means I'm interested in the lifelong skills that learning something difficult gives you. I realise that many of you may not go on to study science or maths in your adult life; but the skills and discipline, the mental training - the 'learning how to learn' - which I will teach you WILL stay with you. These are what will give you the edge in your future employment.
In addition to this, I'll also teach you exam strategy and technique, which is a whole other subject, and one that becomes critical as you approach exam time!
