About Wing Kit
Hello! I’m Vicky, a PhD Researcher in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Exeter and an experienced University Teaching Assistant. I help GCSE Biology students break down complex concepts, master exam techniques, and achieve top grades in a supportive, professional environment.
I know GCSEs can feel stressful and overwhelming, with so much content to memorize and strict mark schemes to navigate. My goal is to take that pressure off by making science clear, approachable, and manageable.

Qualifications & Experience:
PhD Researcher in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Exeter studying alternative splicing in angiogenesis, with active experience as a University Teaching Assistant teaching undergraduates and mentoring lab interns. Holds a First Class BSc (Hons) in Medical Science from Exeter, including a 1-year research placement at Derriford Research Facility.
Teaching Approach:
I specialise in breaking down complex topics (like genetics, cell biology, and physiology) into simple, clear steps. Lessons are interactive and heavily focused on mastering exam technique, mark scheme keywords, and past paper practice.
