About Ayomi

Hello, I am an Engineering graduate and currently a PhD researcher specializing in Materials Science and Nanotechnology at RMIT University, Australia. My academic and research experience has provided me with a strong foundation in Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, and Research Methods.

I believe every student can succeed when complex concepts are explained in a simple and engaging way. My teaching style focuses on building understanding, confidence, and problem-solving skills rather than memorization alone. I tailor each lesson to the student's learning needs and pace, ensuring a supportive and encouraging learning environment.

Whether you need help with school science, university coursework, assignments, or exam preparation, I am committed to helping you achieve your academic goals. My aim is to make learning enjoyable, practical, and accessible while developing the confidence needed for long-term success.

About the lesson

As a PhD researcher in Materials Science and an Engineering graduate, I am passionate about helping students develop a strong understanding of scientific concepts and build confidence in their learning. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex topics through clear explanations, practical examples, and interactive problem-solving.

Lessons are tailored to the individual needs and learning pace of each student. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and apply scientific principles to real-world situations rather than relying solely on memorisation.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and may include concept explanations, worked examples, exam preparation, assignment support, and guided practice questions. I have experience in scientific research, academic writing, and advanced laboratory techniques, which allows me to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical insights.

My lessons are suitable for secondary school, undergraduate, and early postgraduate students seeking support in Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, Research Methods, and related subjects.
