About Allen
I am a UGC-UKIERI PhD research fellow at Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Having completed my Master’s in Development Studies and MPhil in social sciences; my main research areas are political regimes, democracy, transition and consolidation, public policy and welfare.

I intend to teach from an interdisciplinary approach. Social sciences need to be understood in the totality of events and discourses supported by recent theoretical, field, ideological and philosophical positioning of perspectives.
My pedagogy is about inculcating the habit of investigation and making informed decisions regarding your academic career and works. Most of my classes are interactive and self-help based. My major objective is for you to develop mental capacities, be confident and know how to approach any problem.
