About Ava
I am excited to work with students! My main goal for any student is to get them to a place of independence. In biology there are a lot of systems and mechanisms to remember and studying for exams can seem daunting. I have graduated from an Honors Biology Program at Texas A&M University, tutored for 3 years in Biology, worked in Biological Research for 6 years, and am currently in a PhD program for Cellular Biology.

I accommodate around the student's current curriculum in AP Biology or College Level Biology classes. I have experience in tutoring students. Typically my style is to review relevant material and give practice quizzes to test the student's knowledge. I also have experience in Biological Research and applying to Graduate School Programs in Scientific Fields.

Perfect! Ava understands the assignment that's for sure! She has helped my high school age daughter improve her bio tests scores by leaps and bounds. Ava comes prepared to every session with a game plan on what to cover and how to help my daughter improve between their sessions.
