About Kaitlyn
I am a PhD student at the University of Wollongong researching popular culture and the law. I have a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts (Sociology/English Literatures).
Throughout my undergraduate studies I was a volunteer tutor with SCARF, specialising in tutoring English. I have guided several Year 12 students through their studies in English and Legal Studies to prepare them for the HSC. I also have additional experience tutoring students met with learning difficulties such as ESL students and students with dyslexia.

I focus on incorporating healthy, balanced study habits to ensure that students are well prepared and confident. I encourage students to be creative in their learning, tailoring teaching techniques to their individual learning style (for example, if a student is a visual learner I encourage them to use visual notes and pictures to outline the plot themes, characters etc of a novel).
