About Stephanie
Philosophy: I have two years of teaching experience at undergraduate degree in philosophy (UFMG). I taught undergraduate students of the first, second, third and eighth periods of Philosophy. Before that, I was approved in first position in the Phd selective process at UFMG (2014) and also was approved in first position in the Masters selective process at UFMG (2012). In 2016, I was awarded the "Young Scholar Award" of Hume Society, for being one of the 5 students from around the world whose article in English has been selected for presentation at the University of Sydney.

I currently have a Phd scholarship in philosophy at UFMG, with an emphasis on modern British philosophy. My classes try to address important issues in the history of philosophy in the light of problems of the present. Besides the books of major philosophers of history, I also use movies with philosophical meanings to discuss and explain philosophical questions. My classes are dynamic, interactive, and can be useful for beginners as well as for advanced students of the area.
My classes are relaxed and fun! My aim is to motivate students, and to help them develop autonomous and impartial reflection.
