I am a PhD student in Physics at the Swansea University. I generally like to understand the needs of my students, and then work with them to overcome any difficulties they have to understand the subject. I think that theoretical lessons are important, but practical examples, like exercises or videos showing the actual physics, can be more fun and explicative.
Carlotta is a very enthusiast and skilled scientist. For as long as I've known her, I have witnessed she has excellent professional relationships. Her outsatnding honesty and responsability towards her work, colleagues and students seems to be always appreciated. Furthermore, Carlotta's ability to transmit what she knows to young minds seems to rely on the fact that she genuinely cares for her students
I have given lessons of maths and physics to high school students in Italy for over 5 years now. I have taught to many students. The majority of them achieved high marks by the end of the year but, more importantly, a better understanding of the subject. I also helped a couple of them to prepare the admission exam for University and they passed it.
I think I care for my students and I am very proud of their results.
