About Michael
I teach because I know exactly what it's like to feel bad at maths and physics, or that you don't have a "mathematical brain". I also know how it feels to finally get it, and what it takes to bring students to the point where they may even regard these previously daunting subjects as easy.

I emphasise understanding over just knowing, and teach my students the underlying patterns of physics and mathematics so that they can derive methods for themselves instead of learning algorithms from a textbook. My lessons are for GCSE, A Level and above.
