I am a PhD student in music who has been teaching in various forms for over ten years! I have background writing for The Buffalo News, in addition to ten years of experience writing in higher education. I had great success with the verbal section of the SATs and GREs, and am eager to help others do the same!

I embrace a progressive, student-centered approach to teaching and tutoring. However, I also see the benefit to simple, direct instruction at times. I give lessons to students of all ages and experience levels. I am available for music theory, music history, and music composition lessons in addition to tutoring on matters related to reading and writing.
