About Gabrielle
Gabrielle (Gabby) Young is a food and product photographer whose specialty is creating compelling narratives with vibrancy, sharp lighting, colour, and movement. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in photography at the pristine art school of Sheridan College.
While Gabrielle mainly works in food/ drink, she has experience in portrait, fashion, and location photography with her four-year bachelor’s degree program.
She loves taking a simple product and bringing it to life on camera. Through growing relationships with makeup artists, stylists, and all who work with her. She always finds a captivating narrative to photograph and explore

Gabrielle has experience in all forms of photography. Food, portrait, fashion, and location photography with her four-year bachelor’s degree program. She also has experience editing on Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Capture 1, from basic editing to retouching.
Some subjects she covers include:
Lighting both in the studio and on location, In-Home Studio tricks and lighting tips, prop styling and gadgets, food/ drink photography, and how to work with clients and models in photography in both portrait and product. Gabrielle also covers retouching software, teaching how to perform basic editing and retouching, finding your style in the photographic field, and how to be original.
With her experience with professional photographers, she also assists with portfolio analysis, photo concepts and ideas, and how to develop the final image.
She is here and ready to assist growing photographers in how to improve their skills and their portfolios.
