About Sean
My experience as a photographer began with my passion for taking photos resulting in a school traineeship with a photography studio. This led to gaining valuable experience in the photography industry being taken to event and portrait shoots, learning the background behind how the industry works and getting practical experience taking photos for clients.
I enjoy shooting wildlife and landscape photos, however most of the work I do is event photography at formals and gatherings along with these I have also done pet photography.
In regards to teaching experience I am a sailing instructor so I have experience instructing and guiding people to learn or improve on a skill through theory or practical learning.

I believe that to learn photography you should have a firm grasp of the basic concepts and then lots of practical experience to cement them.
Topics that can be covered include:
Camera basics - learning about your camera, finding out what all the dials and numbers mean and setting it up to suit you.
Key concepts - what to look for in a photo, how light works and basic compositional techniques
Photo techniques - looking at different compositions, analyzing photos taken by you or others and learning how to improve or finding out what makes them great
I currently use a Sony Alpha camera but frequently use Nikon and originally started with Olympus and Panasonic so whatever brand you use I will be able to assist you with it.
My lessons would be for those who are just getting into photography as a hobby, those who just want help getting around their camera or if you want someone to help you analyze and find ways to improve an image you've captured.
