About Vincent

I help students understand AP Physics by focusing on how the ideas actually work, not just which formula to use. Physics becomes much easier once you see the rationale behind it. In our sessions, I explain where equations come from, what they mean physically, and how to decide which one applies—so you’re not guessing during exams. A typical lesson starts with a quick check of what’s confusing you most. We then break the topic down step by step using diagrams, real examples, and clear reasoning. I’ll show you how AP problems are structured, how to avoid common mistakes, and how to think through problems efficiently under time pressure. We finish each session with practice problems and a short summary you can use when studying on your own. I’ve also tutored my own child through AP Physics and freshman-level college physics, which taught me how students actually struggle with the subject and where explanations often fall short. That experience helps me explain difficult concepts more clearly and adapt my teaching style to what works best for students, not just what works on paper. What makes my tutoring different is that I connect physics to the real world. I’ve spent many years applying physics in engineering and technology, so I can explain abstract topics—like forces, energy, fields, waves, and circuits—in ways that actually make sense. This helps students build confidence and stop relying on memorization. I tutor AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, and AP Physics C (Mechanics and E&M). My lessons are especially helpful if you’re good at math but feel that physics hasn’t “clicked” yet, or if you want to strengthen your understanding and improve your AP exam performance.
