I have worked with students one-on-one, in classrooms, and in lecture halls of 400 students. I've taught physics and math of many different levels and several universities and colleges.
But honestly, there are plenty of not-so-great teachers who have done the same thing..

- Do you feel anxious about math and physics?
One of my main goals is to provide a calm and supportive environment for learning. I want you to feel comfortable and successful.
- Have you ever asked yourself, "What's the point of all of this?"
It is easy to become lost in the details, but I can help you see the big picture. Instead of a series of unrelated lessons, you will see a set of tools. I will also help you to see what is really important and what are just details.
What makes me a great teacher?
- My ability to listen closely. This allows me to find out what *you need, not what *I want to tell you.
- My ability to bring in the real world. I will connect abstract ideas to examples that are simple, concrete, and visual.
My opinion is that structured lesson plans are not appropriate for tutoring. The way to work quickly and effectively is by directly addressing the needs of each individual student. If you know what you need, that's great. If not, don't worry, we'll figure it out together.
