About James
I have over ten years' experience tutoring individuals and classes from common entrance up to university level. I have studied a lot and know my subjects exceptionally thoroughly. But my teaching experience means I also know what it's like from the students' point of view, what it's like to learn things for the first time, and places where confusions or difficulties typically arise. I am always extremely calm and patient and my aim is to make my students confident in their knowledge and ability.

I explain ideas patiently and with plenty of examples, encouraging students to attempt solving problems early on in low pressure situations to help build confidence. I consistently review past topics to keep them fresh, while also pushing and challenging students to keep them thinking.
