About Juan Iván
I worked during five years in a private school mentoring high school students in chemistry, physics and maths. I was also a Professor during a semester at the School of Chemistry of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Now, I'm almost to finish my PhD in Chemical Sciences.

I like to record all the class content on the board. Having a good board is the key for students to have clear notes that they can remember out of the classroom. For that reason, I like to have a structured and detailed board. My class focuses on addressing the concerns and doubts of my students. I like to ask them what is not clear to them and what idea they have to tackle the problems that arise in their tasks. Based on this, my class happens solving their doubts and teaching them the knowledge that might lack so that they can be able to solve their tasks themselves. I constantly ask them questions to make the class dynamic and circular. My intention behind this method is for students to feel confident that they can solve a task on their own any time.

Details
I strongly recommend to schedule at least two hours. I have the experience that the student is focused after the first hour. Therefore, two hours might be enough for the student to remember the class content.
The classes are given with the Zoom platform.
