About Aryana
I am currently a Physics major at Sam Houston State University, I currently have a 3.71 GPA (with a 4.0 GPA for the most recent semester) and have excelled in all my math classes. I do my best to make sure that all the students I teach feel comfortable and are not afraid to ask for help. It is always okay to ask questions and make mistakes, that is how we learn. I want to help students gain a better understanding of math because I know how hard those classes can be.

I take time with students to discover what teaching methods work for each individual and use those methods to teach the student. Before helping with homework, I go over the topic of the assignment, walk the student through some practice problems, and then work on assignments given to the student. I also make sure that each student feels safe and comfortable asking questions, and that a student can ask me anything. I take my time to get to know each student so that I can help them to the best of my abilities. My lessons are for anyone grades k-8, and specific classes for any grade including pre-calculus, pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, trigonometry, calculus 1, and elementary functions.

Details
I am more than willing to negotiate my rates, on average I do make it $16 an hour just because I tend to research the topic beforehand and make sure I know everything I need to know in order to better help my students. I also have it at $16 in case I need to commute anywhere, but please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have about my rates!
