About Albert
As a recent first-generation college graduate, I will say that my educational journey was not "smooth." I actually began my journey as a high-school dropout. I had a keen interest in discovering and learning new things. I just knew that I wanted to fully understand the world around me in the most effective way. So my ground-zero was actually around remedial English and math to which I progressed all through advanced mathematics and physics concepts, through dedication and hard work. But that was not without the help of all the instructors, tutors, and mentors along the way. With these experiences and acquired knowledge, I have dedicated my time to learn and teach others about the world around us.

In my years of tutoring and teaching, I have acquired a structural approach that utilizes concepts like Bloom's Taxonomy, and the three pillars of supplemental instruction. Furthermore, I strongly believe that student interaction is the best for learning and this propels my lessons to be student-led, rather than instructor-led.
Structurally a lesson usually goes as follows:
1. Group Builder / Activity
2. Activate (recall or content initiation)
3. Concept (formal introduction of the material)
4. Group/Open-board work
5. Evaluation
This structure is essentially universal, but I have only taught/tutored high school seniors or college students.
I strongly believe that my passion for education and the subjects I teach or tutor, paired with my structural approach is highly effective.
