About Odette
I hold a PhD in Music Education and have spent 8 years teaching piano to students of different ages and experience levels. Music has always been an important part of my life, and teaching gives me the opportunity to help others experience the joy and confidence that come from learning an instrument.
My approach emphasizes collaboration, practical musicianship, and supportive guidance. I enjoy helping students participate in duets, group performances, and community music activities that strengthen both musical and personal confidence. Every learner receives instruction tailored to their individual goals and learning style.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy accompanying performers, studying music education, and participating in musical events. These experiences help keep my lessons engaging and relevant. Watching students grow into confident and capable musicians is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work.

My piano lessons help students develop strong musical foundations while enjoying the process of making music. We work on finger independence, reading fluency, rhythm training, sight reading, coordination, and ensemble skills through engaging and practical activities. I focus on helping learners become comfortable at the keyboard from the beginning. Every lesson balances technical growth with musical enjoyment.
Students interested in modern music, collaborative performance, or community events receive guidance that matches their goals. I include duet playing, rhythm exercises, listening activities, and performance preparation to strengthen confidence and musical awareness. Lessons are designed to keep students motivated while encouraging consistent improvement over time.
As students gain experience, they become more expressive, independent, and confident musicians. My goal is to help learners enjoy music while developing reliable skills that support long-term progress. Every lesson creates opportunities for creativity, learning, and meaningful musical growth.
