About Arun
I am in year 11 and have been obsessed with music since I was 13. I taught myself how to play piano, guitar and saxophone and spend heaps of my day studying music theory. I write my own music every now and then too. I love teaching - and in my opinion, you learn most when you teach. For anyone looking to learn music, I am ready to help you get started and ignite the flame that is your passion. I specialise in jazz, but I can teach other genres too (pop, funk, blues, R&B) Music is just one language with different dialects!
As the great Stevie Wonder once said: “Music is a world within itself, with a language we all understand.”

For absolute beginners, I teach the basic fundamentals as if I were explaining it to a baby - a tree can’t grow without its roots.
For people with some musical knowledge already, I am ready to kindle the flame that is glowing and help them
grow as a musician. As a teacher, I will guide my students as I pave a path for them; the teacher only does 50% of the work - it is the student’s effort that allows them to flourish.
I will teach the same way I learnt - that is what brought me to this stage. I am 100% positive that what I have done, anybody can do and I will prove that to you.
