About Emberlin
I hold a Bachelor’s in Music Performance and a Master’s in Music Pedagogy, with 8 years of experience teaching piano to students of all ages and levels. My philosophy emphasizes technical mastery paired with creative expression, ensuring that students develop both competence and confidence. Lessons are tailored to individual goals, pacing, and learning styles, creating a supportive and engaging environment.
In my teaching, I cover technique, sight reading, rhythm, repertoire, and interpretation. I integrate exercises, musical games, improvisation, and performance practice to ensure students grow steadily in skill and expressiveness. Encouragement, patience, and personalized attention are central to my approach, helping learners explore music confidently and joyfully.
Outside the classroom, I actively perform, study repertoire, and attend masterclasses to continually refine my skills and bring fresh insights to students. Witnessing students evolve from beginners to confident, expressive pianists is incredibly rewarding.
