About Aleksandar
The compression and shearing properties of the soil will be determined by means of triaxial tests (this type of test will be explained by Matthew after Reading week). A first specimen has been prepared for testing: the specimen is saturated, and has a cylindrical shape with a height of 75.9 mm and a diameter of 38.1 mm. It weighs 160.0 g. After testing, the sample is placed in an oven at 105 °C for 24 hours. Its dry mass is 115.7 g. Determine:
