About Painuulasi
Hey! I’m a Gen Z tutor with a Political Science degree from Deakin University, and I’m currently doing post-grad study in International Studies and a Political Philosophy paper through Harvard. I tutor English, History, Humanities, Legal Studies, and Global Politics from Year 7 to VCE.
I’ve tutored in schools and worked with students from both private and public schools. I understand what teachers are looking for and how to help students improve fast. My focus is on making things easy to understand, building confidence, and helping students write better and think clearly.
My lessons are structured but relaxed. Students can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn without feeling stressed. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy content creating, traveling, and throwing events. I want to tutor because I enjoy it much more than teaching a classroom. I get to teach students more than what they can get out of the education system.

My Tutoring Approach
My tutoring style is supportive, structured, and tailored to each student. I focus on helping students understand why something works, not just memorize content, so they feel confident applying their knowledge in assessments and exams.
Teaching Style & Techniques
I break complex ideas into clear, manageable steps and adjust my teaching to suit each student’s learning style. Lessons include guided discussion, content revision, writing support, and practice questions. For essay-based subjects, I place strong emphasis on structure, clear arguments, and meeting assessment criteria.
Lesson Length
Most lessons run for 60 minutes, which allows time for learning, practice, and questions. Longer sessions are available when preparing for exams or major assignments.
Qualifications & Experience
I am a Political Science graduate from Deakin University and am currently completing postgraduate studies in International Studies, as well as a Political Philosophy paper through Harvard. This background supports my strong focus on critical thinking, research, and academic writing.
