About Uzma
I have read English books since I was a child, and enjoy everything from Shakespeare to modern literature, academic articles, newspaper articles and cultural/travel pieces. Diversity in materials creates excitement and generates natural engagement, which is what I like to bring to learning experiences with me.
Learning languages is not easy, but I find it fun and challenging. It requires work - reading and writing, included.
I spend time and energy into helping someone, so I do expect the same level of passion and dedication back.

I'm an avid book lover and reader, graduating in Political Science - which means I have over 15+ years of experience reading and writing academic journals, editing, doing research and research-based writing, creative writing, and newspaper articles.
I am an easygoing person in general, so my lessons are not meant to be "by the book", but a casual approach to learning naturally and easily.
Lessons will be tailored to the student, but my main rule is that reading produces good writing - so, we will be reading!
