About Shikha
I am a passionate Political Science student with a deep love for the humanities. Having cleared school board exams successfully myself not too long ago, I understand exactly where Class 6 to 8 students lose interest or struggle with heavy theory. My goal as an online tutor is to break down complex topics into light, digestible concepts. I focus on building a strong foundational base in Civics, History, and Geography so that students not only excel in their current school exams but also develop a genuine analytical interest in the world around them.

I structure my online webcam classes to make Social Studies (History, Civics, & Geography) highly engaging and simple to remember for middle schoolers. Instead of rote learning heavy text, I use a 5-step interactive framework:
1. Story Hooks: Turning dry historical dates and political concepts into interesting narratives.
2. School-to-Country Analogies: Comparing complex systems (like the Judiciary or Parliament) to a school's management system so it clicks instantly.
3. Live Visual Mapping: Building flowcharts and timelines on-screen together so the student has visual notes.
4. NCERT/School Book Mapping: Reviewing back-of-the-chapter questions directly to prepare for school tests.
