I believe that curiosity is key to learning, thus it makes little sense to me when students aim on simply memorizing their subject matter, and once the course finishes they simply forget everything they learnt. I believe, that students should be pushed to focus on an area that interests them and in a way, self-learn the subject. Tools such as Mind maps can be used, which allows students to further expand on their ideas, as the overall goal should be to gain the attention and interest of the student, rather than force them to study.
