About Srishti
I am a graduate in Mechanical Engineering (summa cum laude/gold medalist) from India. I have extensive experience in mathematics and computation. I have also previously taught students from grade 10, grade 12 and undergraduates (year 1, year 2 and year 3), and therefore I am confident about being very capable of delivering my knowledge to students of varying backgrounds and abilities. I am fluent in English and I find in myself, the patience that is essential for teaching.

I have graduated from Imperial College London with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. In my experience, I have realized that it only looks intimidating until you see it, understand it and feel it.
I prefer a visual approach to teaching fundamentals of Maths and Science. I usually direct my students to videos and animations that give them a basic feeling of what happens, and only after that I start exploring with them the physical and mathematical foundation of the phenomenon. This has is most cases helped my students to not only understand but also apply concepts to theoretical and real-life problems.
For example, if you do not know anything about how a car transmission works, and I was to explain it to you, I would send you this link: (concealed information)
Once you've seen the inside of a car transmission, I would explain to you the particular function of each component and then delve into the mathematical aspect of things.
I have found this strategy very useful, especially when teaching students from grade 10-12. It also helps my younger pupils fall in love with Maths, Science and Technology the way I fell in love with these subjects early on in my life.
