About Celine
Hi! My name is Celine Ibrahim, and I’m a postgraduate student from Harvard with over six years of tutoring experience across multiple subjects. I started tutoring in high school when I realized I had a knack for breaking things down in a clear and engaging way. Since then, I’ve helped students go from failing to passing, and many have seen dramatic improvements—like SAT score increases of over 300 points. I’ve worked long-term with several students for more than two years, which speaks to the consistent results and strong relationships we’ve built. I’m committed to helping every student feel confident, supported, and empowered to reach their goals.

If I could describe my teaching style in one way it would be personalized! I love to get to know my students' learning style in the first few sessions so that I can tailor my methods to set them up for success. A typical lesson plan would look like doing a quick review on any previous lesson, doing a review on any new material, and straight into practice problems. We would do a problem together, where we are thinking out loud together, carefully working through the problem. Then I would have you try one by yourself. Unless you have specific material you would like to go over, I provide the lesson material. For virtual lessons, I have an iPad and pencil set up so that I can SHOW rather than tell. My lessons are tailored towards K-12 as well as college-aged students! Looking forward to working with you! :)
