My teaching strategy includes a blend of personalized and active learning techniques. I believe a student should be given the choice to decide their own learning process as every student has their own subjective way of processing knowledge, so the teaching style should cater to their needs and strengths. Monitoring a student's engagement with appropriate reinforcement is also a must so that the student not only learns better and faster but also smarter. The usual structure of my class will follow a session with mini video lessons, reciprocal questioning, knowledge application with the session ending with the student highlighting their questions and the weakest point for them in the lesson. I am an empathetic and patient individual ready to work with a child for as long as they need till they hone and gain confidence in their skills. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and have done extensive research in the field of child development which is an added bonus to my qualities. I have experience with creative writing throughout my college years as well as an extra course on English literature. My classes are intended for primary school and secondary school children.
