About Stephanie
After graduating with a Master's degree in Marine Biology and Oceanography from the University of Southampton, I worked in conservation for two years and then took a technical consultancy role with Chelsea Technologies in the UK for four years. While at Chelsea I helped to develop regulations with the International Maritime Organisation on invasive species and pollutants from ships. I now manage a charity called Sea Sanctuaries, specialising in plastic research, shark ecology and education outreach programmes.

My teaching method is based around the person(s) I'm teaching, taking into account their ability and preferred learning format, whether this be more practical or research based for example. A PowerPoint is often best to achieve a balance of written and other material, followed by engaging questions to recap what has been covered.

Perfect! This was my first lesson with Stephanie. The subject was introducing me to Biology. The lesson was structured and the topic content very interesting. Stephanie answered all of my questions around the topic for greater meaning and understanding. I have a 2nd lesson booked which I am looking forward to. I would highly recommend this tutor.
