About Luc
Hi, I’m Luc! I’ve been a professional artist for 14 years, working between painting, drawing, and printmaking. My career has taken me from London to New York, LA, and Venice, but at the heart of everything I do is a deep love for creativity and self-expression. Beyond art, I’m passionate about mindfulness and meditation, which I’ve practised for over a decade. I also love being out in nature—whether it’s surfing, rock climbing, or sailing. These experiences have shaped the way I approach both life and teaching: with patience, presence, and a belief in every person’s potential. I know that making art can be both exciting and intimidating. That’s why I create a relaxed, encouraging environment where you can explore, make mistakes, and grow. Whether you’re just starting out or refining your practice, my goal is to help you develop confidence in your work and find your own artistic voice. Art is for everyone, and I love helping people discover what they’re capable of. If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, I’d love to work with you.

I offer private art lessons at my spacious New York-style studio in Islington or via home visits. With over 14 years of professional experience, I provide tailored instruction for students of all levels—whether you're looking to refine your painting technique, stretch canvases, explore drawing and printmaking, or gain deeper insight into contemporary art. My teaching style is highly personalised, creating a relaxed and welcoming environment. I work with both children and adults, covering everything from the philosophy of modern art to hands-on mentorship for practising artists navigating the industry. As a professional artist making a living from my work, I offer real-world insights alongside technical skills. My studio is home to a collection of over 300 large art books, providing endless inspiration. Lessons range from 1 to 4 hours, depending on your needs.
