About Edwina
Currently studying Fine Arts at UNSW Art and Design. I have been painting and drawing as a hobby but am now pursing it as a career as a teacher and commercial artist. I teach kids at a a small art studio in Burwood and I've had regular one to one lessons with adults and older students during my free time. I'm proud to say they've all improved and learnt new techniques with my guidance.

My teaching is based on improving art foundations. This includes proportion drawing, colour theory and how to mix paints, and how to apply brush strokes. My art style is geared more towards realism, however I enjoy a relaxed approach based on intuitions. My lessons would be suitable for teenagers or adults who want to learn how to paint or sketch realistically, or are looking to develop their skills. Foundation work is really important because the art execution relies on it. As someone once said, you can't polish a turd.

Edwina is my co-worker, she is extremely friendly, funny, bubbly and easy to talk to. Her work ethic and professionalism are no joke when it comes to customer service. She is always committed to her work and her motivation is contagious. She is always there to offer help to others. I cannot recommend her enough!!
I'm Edwina's best friend and I had absolutely no skills in art but one day she decided to teach me how to draw a basic human face. Honestly, I was surprised by my own work by the end of her impromptu lesson. She's funny and patient too.
