About Jamie
A graphic designer and teacher with more than 20 years industry experience, my role as the Creative Director of Leading Hand Design is supplemented with a wealth of experience in marketing, design planning, brand strategy, art direction, advertising, packaging, signage and wayfinding, copywriting and print management. The subjects I teach at TAFE range from Design Elements & Principles for Certificate IV to Type Expression at Diploma level and Visual Communications for Advanced Diploma students.
In my first year of teaching in 2020, a group of my students were successful in winning a pencil in the international D&AD Young Blood Awards.
Having successfully ushered literally hundreds of students through their studies , I look forward to helping you become a better graphic designer and achieve the results you are aiming for.

Having taught all levels of students at TAFE Enmore Design Centre – from entry level students to third year graduates – I have developed a practical, supportive style of teaching which is embellished by my experience not only in the graphic design industry but through broader interests in fine art, photography, architecture, travel and popular culture.
I am happy to provide general design training and can also assist with assignments or projects that might be improved with direction from an industry expert and trained, professional teacher.
