About Mahnoor
I am a pre‑med graduate with a strong background in biology and academic communication, now completing a B.Sc. (Hons) in Psychology with additional training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Special Education Needs (SEN). I have experience mentoring high school students, leading academic projects, and delivering structured learning sessions focused on exam preparation and study skills.
I combine solid subject knowledge with evidence‑based study strategies to help students understand complex biology topics and express their ideas clearly in English. My approach is especially helpful for students who benefit from structured explanations, step‑by‑step breakdowns, and regular practice with feedback.

I use a clear, exam‑focused approach that builds strong biology understanding and academic English skills for high school students. Each lesson starts with a quick check of prior knowledge, followed by concise explanations, guided practice, and targeted questions aligned with GCSE/IGCSE, IB, A‑level, or equivalent curricula. I emphasize active recall, concept maps, and structured answer techniques for biology, alongside improving scientific reading, writing, and presentation skills in English.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, with optional 90‑minute intensive sessions before exams. I adapt pacing and materials to each student, using visual summaries, practice questions, and short writing tasks to reinforce understanding and exam technique.
My lessons are designed specifically for high school students (ages 14–18) who need support in biology and academic English, whether for regular coursework, internal assessments, or external exams.
I combine solid subject knowledge with evidence‑based study strategies to help students understand complex biology topics and express their ideas clearly in English. My approach is especially helpful for students who benefit from structured explanations, step‑by‑step breakdowns, and regular practice with feedback.
