About Katie
I'm a student at Virginia Tech, majoring in Dairy Science on a pre-veterinary track/focus, applying to vet school this cycle (beginning in 2026).
I have experienced learning challenges in the past so I understand any challenges you may have. It also forced me to learn many different studying methods, and also come up with some! This made me creative with how I learned so I have multiple different ways to help learn topics, especially those that are hard to many, like Chemistry, which I now like a lot!

I like learning to be fun rather than have it be a chore. Our lessons will be focused on first finding the right learning method for the student/ensuring I'm teaching in a way that makes sense, then learning the material in that way! Everyone can be different with learning styles, even without realizing, and using the right method, and having options, can be extremely helpful.
I teach science: chemistry, biology, AP Chemistry, AP Biology - completed and passed those two AP classes, and exams. Math: algebra, geometry
