About Iris
I am a dedicated flute tutor with 16 years of experience, having successfully taught around 150 students from beginner to advanced levels. I am passionate about helping students learn music in a clear and structured way.
My teaching method focuses on communication, patience, and flexibility, allowing me to adjust lessons based on each student’s learning pace and style. I emphasize strong fundamentals such as breathing, fingering, tone production, and rhythm.
I make my classes engaging by including exercises, songs, and creative activities that keep students motivated. I create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable to learn and grow.
My strength is explaining concepts in a simple way and guiding students step by step. I also support students with basic music theory. My aim is to help students become confident and skilled flute players.

My flute teaching methodology is based on adapting to each student’s learning style while maintaining flexibility, encouraging collaboration, and building a positive learning environment. I begin by understanding the student’s goals, interests, and strengths, which helps me design lessons that are both effective and engaging.
I focus on core techniques such as breath control, tone quality, posture, and finger coordination to create a strong foundation. I keep my teaching flexible, adjusting the lesson pace and structure based on the student’s progress.
Collaboration is encouraged through interactive sessions where students actively participate and contribute ideas. I maintain a supportive and motivating atmosphere where students feel confident to learn and improve.
In addition to flute, I also teach music theory, rhythm, and ear training to support complete musical development.
